Easily said, the IRA is an insurance policy for your insurance policy. According to the National Association of Unclaimed Property and Administrators (NAUPA), the United States government has a safeguard on over $24 billion in unclaimed life insurance policies and other assets. Currently there is not a national database for unclaimed insurance policies. The Insurance Registry of America is an online service that allows our members to set up unique profiles that will store information that their beneficiaries might need in the event of an unexpected death.
